I started my career in fitness teaching group classes in 2008. This naturally led to becoming a personal trainer a few years later. I love helping members push their limits through group trainings and also by designing individual fitness programs to help a client reach his/her fitness goals. My favorite part of training is helping someone turn the “I CAN’T” …into…”I DID IT!” You are STRONGER than you think!
I challenge myself by continuing my Health Sciences studies. Let me challenge you through strong workouts and healthy eating habits. Eric Thomas says, “If you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, then you will be successful”.
I have been employed at fitness centers and as a Personal Trainer in LaGrange since 1995. I am certified as a Personal Trainer and Sports Nutritionist. Let’s get together to update your current program or create a new one. Your program will help you feel the full intensity on the muscle worked, proper breathing while working out and the importance of stretching and cardio. Fitness is a passion of mine from cardio (HIIT) to weight lifting. I began as a Group Fitness Instructor because I like that extra push you get from the class atmosphere. I became a Personal Trainer shortly after because I enjoy helping people reach their goals even if it’s just helping someone to be more active. My training philosophy – ANYONE can achieve what the mind believes because ALL things are possible!

As a goal-oriented trainer, I will do anything and everything to get you the results and knowledge that you seek. Your goals are extremely important to me. I played competitive sports – football, baseball, soccer and track & field. Let me put my four years of experience to work for you!
My desire is to share the advantage of living an active life. As an avid participant of obstacle races, I can get you ready for your next race or simply help to increase your strength and energy for daily living. As Rachel Wolchin states, “If we were meant to stay in one place, we’d have roots instead of feet".
I grew up playing sports and from that came training. In high school I would train my friends and help them obtain their sports-oriented goals. My training style has become less traditional meaning that I use specific workouts to target the muscles directly in order to maximize the muscles’ full potential. I have trained several athletes at LaGrange College where I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Science. I would love for us to achieve our goals together!
